Building on the energy of  NeoCon and Design Days 2026, CBI + Allsteel were excited to host the July Elevate Trip—an exclusive experience designed to bring together leaders from the commercial interiors industry for deeper product exploration, meaningful collaboration, and firsthand access to the Allsteel Experience Center in Chicago.

The Elevate Trip was created to connect architects, designers, and interior construction professionals who help shape today’s workplace environments. By bringing together influential voices across multiple disciplines, the program provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen industry relationships, and explore solutions that support the evolving needs of the built environment.

Guests spent time immersed in the Allsteel Experience Center, experiencing the brand’s newest product introductions and award-winning solutions firsthand. The visit reinforced many of the themes showcased during NeoCon and Design Days, including human-centered ergonomics, sustainability, adaptability, and thoughtful workplace design.

Among the highlights was Levra , Allsteel’s newest task chair and recipient of the 2026 Interior Design HiP Award. Attendees also explored the Flourish seating collection and  Dimension architectural wall system, both recognized as 2026 Interior Design HiP Award finalists. Seeing these products in person allowed guests to better understand the design intent, performance, and versatility behind each solution.

Beyond the showroom experience, the trip created valuable opportunities for conversation with the Allsteel team, giving attendees additional insight into product development, workplace trends, and the future of commercial interiors. These discussions help strengthen the knowledge and resources CBI + Allsteel bring to clients across corporate, education, government, and healthcare environments.

Of course, no Chicago experience would be complete without enjoying the city itself!  The group explored the vibrant Fulton Market District, admired Chicago’s iconic architecture, enjoyed some of the city’s dining life, and built relationships outside the workplace—making the experience as enjoyable as it was informative.

The Elevate Trip reflects CBI and Allsteel’s shared commitment to continuous learning, meaningful industry partnerships, and delivering thoughtful workplace solutions. By investing in experiences like these, we’re better equipped to provide our clients with informed recommendations and create environments that meet their unique needs.
