– Q: What is your current role at CBI and what are your main responsibilities?
A: I am the VP of Workplace and my key responsibilities in the CBI leadership team are
overseeing the design intent, product applications, and budgets for various
companywide projects. In addition to providing leadership to other Account Managers, I
also manage my own accounts, as I truly enjoy collaborating with client project teams
and ensuring projects are successfully completed from start to finish.

– Q: What led to your career at CBI?
A: I started my career as a commercial interior designer from 1999 to 2007, working for
one of the top A&D firms in Orange County, with a particular passion for design projects
involving furniture. After that I ran my own residential design business while raising my three
children. Once they were all in school full-time, I knew I wanted to return to the industry. I’ve
always called myself a “furniture nerd” and previously worked with CBI, which made the
transition back feel natural.

– Q: Can you share a memorable achievement or project you’ve worked on at CBI?
A: The Inari Medical project really stands out because it took place during the pandemic and was a
complex project. The company was growing at an incredible rate, while supply chains faced
major disruptions and delays, causing the space to evolve before we even installed the first
piece of furniture. It required a lot of coordination and came with its fair share of anxiety, but in
the end, the project was a success, and our client was extremely satisfied.

– Q: How do you stay motivated to grow professionally?
A: The ever-evolving nature of the industry, especially in the post-pandemic era, keeps me driven.
Every client is unique, so there is always something new to learn and grow with for every
project.

– Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
A: My family is the most important to me. I love the outdoors and make it a point to stay
active, whether it’s hiking, biking, enjoying beach days or traveling together.
